UrbanPromise Trenton empowers young people in Trenton through after-school programs, mentorship, and a community they can count on. When we set out to launch Code4All, we wanted to teach inside a place students already trust, and UrbanPromise opened its doors. This fall, our first cohort began the 12-week program at UrbanPromise Trenton.

Warm up
Each session opens with a quick group activity so everyone is talking, laughing, and ready to learn.

Mini-lesson
An instructor live-codes a new concept on the board while students follow along on learn.code4all.org.

Practice
Students write their own programs while mentors move around the room to answer questions and help debug.
